Publication Process

The publication process of ADITAX: Journal of Accounting, Auditing, and Taxation ensures the high quality and integrity of the research published. Below is an overview of the steps involved in the publication of an article in our journal:

Submission of Manuscript

Authors are invited to submit their manuscripts electronically through our online submission system. Manuscripts must adhere to the journal’s submission guidelines, which are available on the journal’s website. Submitted articles should not have been published elsewhere and must be original research related to the fields of accounting, auditing, or taxation.

Initial Review

Once submitted, the editorial team conducts an initial screening to ensure the manuscript fits within the journal’s scope and complies with the formatting and ethical standards. Manuscripts that do not meet the basic requirements may be returned to the authors for revision or rejected.

Peer Review

After the initial review, the manuscript is sent for peer review. ADITAX follows a double-blind peer review process, where both the authors and reviewers remain anonymous to each other. The peer reviewers are selected based on their expertise in the subject matter. They evaluate the manuscript for its originality, quality of research, methodology, clarity, and contribution to the field.

Revisions

Based on the feedback from the reviewers, the authors are asked to revise the manuscript. Authors should address all comments and suggestions made by the reviewers, providing a detailed response to each. The revised manuscript is then resubmitted for further review, if necessary.

Acceptance

Once the manuscript is revised and meets the approval of the reviewers and the editorial team, it is accepted for publication. The authors will receive a formal acceptance letter along with the expected timeline for the publication of their article.

Copyediting and Proofreading

After acceptance, the manuscript undergoes a copyediting and proofreading process to ensure clarity, coherence, and compliance with the journal’s style guidelines. The authors will be sent the final proof for approval before publication.

Publication

After the final proof is approved, the article is published online in the upcoming issue of ADITAX. Authors will be notified when their article is available for public access. As an open-access journal, the article will be freely available for reading, downloading, and distribution.
