Publication Process
The publication process for ECOBIS: Journal of Economics and Business is designed to ensure that all submitted manuscripts undergo a rigorous, transparent, and efficient evaluation. Below is an overview of the steps involved in the publication process:
Submission
Authors submit their manuscripts through the journal's online submission system. All submissions must be formatted according to the journal's submission guidelines. The manuscript must be an original work that has not been published or under consideration for publication elsewhere.
Initial Screening
Upon submission, the manuscript undergoes an initial screening by the editorial team. This step ensures the paper fits within the scope of the journal and complies with basic formatting and ethical standards. If the manuscript meets these criteria, it proceeds to the next stage.
Peer Review
Manuscripts that pass the initial screening are sent to at least two external peer reviewers who are experts in the relevant field. The peer reviewers evaluate the manuscript’s scientific quality, relevance, originality, and contribution to the field of economics and business. The peer review process is double-blind to ensure impartiality and confidentiality.
Revision
Based on the feedback from the peer reviewers, the corresponding author will be asked to make revisions. Authors are expected to address all reviewer comments thoroughly and resubmit the revised manuscript within a specified time frame. The revised manuscript will undergo a second round of peer review if necessary.
Acceptance
If the manuscript meets the required standards after revisions, it is accepted for publication. The editorial team will notify the corresponding author of the acceptance decision. In case of any further revisions or requests, the manuscript will be sent back to the author for final adjustments.
Production
Upon acceptance, the manuscript enters the production phase, where it is prepared for publication. This includes copyediting, typesetting, and final formatting. Authors are given the opportunity to review proofs of their article before publication to ensure accuracy.
Publication
The final version of the manuscript is published online as part of the journal's upcoming issue. The article will also be available in open access format, ensuring global visibility and accessibility.
ECOBIS is committed to maintaining high academic standards throughout the publication process and provides authors with clear communication at each step.
