ECOBIS: Journal of Economics and Business upholds the highest standards of academic integrity and publishing ethics. To ensure originality and avoid plagiarism, all submitted manuscripts are screened using Turnitin plagiarism detection software before the peer-review process begins.

The journal maintains a strict policy, requiring that the similarity index of each manuscript does not exceed 20%. Any submission with a similarity score above this threshold will be returned to the author for revision or may be rejected outright if plagiarism is detected.

Authors are responsible for ensuring that their work is original and properly cites all sources. Plagiarism, in all its forms whether intentional or unintentional constitutes unethical publishing behavior and is unacceptable.

By submitting a manuscript to ECOBIS, authors affirm that:

  1. The work is their original creation.
  2. Any content derived from other works is appropriately cited and referenced.
  3. The manuscript has not been published or submitted elsewhere.

The journal reserves the right to take appropriate actions in cases of confirmed plagiarism, including manuscript rejection, retraction of published articles, and notification of the authors' institutions.
